This website uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Vercel (Hosting & Analytics)

This site is hosted on Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel Analytics collects aggregate, anonymised page view data — no cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Supabase (Database)

Research grant data (DFG and UKRI) is stored in Supabase. No personal user data is stored in the database. Supabase is GDPR compliant and offers EU data residency.

Formspree (Contact & Newsletter forms)

Contact form submissions and newsletter sign-ups are processed by Formspree. Your email address is stored by Formspree to deliver your request.

Calendly (Booking)

The booking page embeds a Calendly calendar. If you book a session, Calendly processes your name and email address. Calendly is GDPR compliant.

Google Translate (external links)

Project title "Translate to English" links open Google Translate in a new tab. No data is sent to Google unless you click those links.

4. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free. Calendly may set a functional session cookie when the booking calendar is loaded.

Wir verwenden keine Tracking- oder Werbe-Cookies. Vercel Analytics arbeitet ohne Cookies. Calendly setzt ggf. einen funktionalen Session-Cookie, wenn der Buchungskalender geladen wird.

5. Data retention / Speicherdauer

Contact form messages are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, typically no longer than 12 months. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Server log data is deleted after 30 days.

7. Data transfers / Datenübertragung in Drittländer

Vercel and Formspree are US-based companies. Data transfers to the USA are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or adequacy decisions where applicable. Supabase data is stored in the EU.

8. Research data (DFG & UKRI)

The DFG Finder and UKRI Finder display publicly available grant data sourced from DFG GEPRIS (gepris.dfg.de) and UKRI Gateway to Research (gtr.ukri.org). This data is published by the funding bodies as open public information. No private or sensitive personal data is stored or displayed beyond what is already public.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
